**Alum Volunteers Needed!** Networking Skills Workshop for Rice Engineering Students

Rice Engineering Alumni (REA) invites you to a student workshop on successfully networking in semi-professional settings. The event is cohosted by the Rice Center for Engineering Leadership (RCEL) and student organizations NSBE (National Society of Black Engineers), SHPE (Society of Hispanic Professional Engineers), and SWE (Society of Women Engineers).

The event will start with a short presentation on networking skills for the students. Volunteers are needed to participate in the last hour for mock networking scenarios with graduate and undergraduate students — examples include approaching a professional at an event, navigating a career fair, or engaging in conversation with a senior leader within a company. Light bites will be provided, and your experience will help students build real-world confidence.
