Calling all Rice Engineering alumni in the Houston Area! Rice Engineering Alumni (REA) invites you to learn about the Oshman Engineering Design Kitchen (OEDK) and help shape the next generation of engineers at Around the Kitchen Table: Engineers Week Edition.

About the Event:
Connect and converse with students, staff, alumni, and industry professionals during this interactive evening at the OEDK. The event will begin with presentations from student design teams, followed by small-group discussions at their work tables, offering a firsthand look at student innovation and hands-on engineering education. Light bites will be served.

After the program, continue the conversation at a happy hour at Valhalla, generously sponsored by REA board member Jim Powers ’89. Attendees will also learn about REA’s continued support of the OEDK through the REA Maker Bar.

Schedule:
4:30-5:15 PM: Student design team presentations
5:15-6:30 PM: Small-group discussions at work tables
6:30 PM: Happy hour at Valhalla
